As a child in the Dominican Republic, designer Kristy Collado found the process of bringing her ideas to life simply magical. Today her jewellery line Chéjo has fashionistas fascinated by the unisex armour-like pieces made from precious metals, fabric, and up-cycled objects. Inspired by architecture, culture, and nature, each dynamic piece is crafted to perfection and made for the strong and fearless fashion-forward person who wants to stand apart from the crowd. With a much-anticipated collection being released in 2014, we’ve got our eyes on this designer today and onwards. After all, her wearable works of art are spellbinding.
