After excelling in his clothing and textiles classes, Jamaican Andre Rowe knew instantly that he wanted to become a fashion designer. Rowe is known for his impeccable eye for detail and use of unconventional materials to create wearable pieces. His 2015 resort collection perfectly combines high-street fashion and sportswear with a surprising twist of colourful paint splatters — inspired, he says, by a bag of plantain chips. His tailored pieces can be worn by men of any age, and bring a dash of spirit to any look. Without a doubt, Rowe proves that men can stand out in the crowd while still looking and feeling good.
